A free weekly kids club brought to you by our friends at Macaroni KID! Bring your kids to Barkley Square every Tuesday morning for Pinwheel Club – a club designed for playfulness, joy, and the celebration of childhood. They’ll get in on nine weeks of fun activities to include crafts, entertainment, and games – all free! You get to sit back and enjoy, or join them in all the fun!

June

• 4: Pinwheel Club Kickoff Party! Inspired Play Café pop-up play, pinwheel craft with Macaroni KID, photo opps, and DJ Miles – a kid himself, this DJ will be spinning tunes tailored just for kids!
• 11: Soccer & Crafts Happy Feet with open soccer play, craft and sensory play with Macaroni KID
• 18: Let’s Read! Storytime with author Katie Marie, Inspired Play Café Pop-Up Play, Bookmark Craft with Macaroni KID, and Kids Book Exchange (bring books you’re ready to part with, and exchange for new ones!)
• 25: Kids Yoga with Full Circle Yoga (starts at 9:30am), story time with JoCo Library, craft with Macaroni KID, and Inspired Play Café pop-up play

July

• 2: Plushie Picnic! Pack your favorite stuffed animal along with a blanket and morning snack! Enjoy a “fun with food” station with Making Mealtime Fun, cute picnic setups and pretend play picnic baskets, and a “me and my plushie” photo opp! Brain to Belly Kids Yoga will also do yoga with the littles at 9:30am
• 9: Stories & Crafts Magic wand craft with Macaroni KID, Bach to Rock music entertainment + instrument play, Story time w/ JoCo Library-Leawood, Inspired Play Café ice cream-themed sensory play
• 16: Let’s Read Another! Storytime with author Katie Marie, Inspired Play Café Pop-Up Play, Bookmark Craft with Macaroni KID, and Kids Book Exchange (bring books you’re ready to part with, and exchange for new ones!)
• 23: MyGym Pop-up play, music play group by Little Audiences Music, Macaroni KID craft and Inspired Play Café pop-up play
• 30: Pinwheel Party! Bounce house by Inflate KC, Fluff it cotton candy (First 100 kids), Inspired Play Café pop-up play, crown craft with Macaroni KID

Notes/Disclaimers:

• In the event of inclement weather, the Pinwheel Club will be cancelled for that week’s activities. Follow @parkplaceleawood and @kcmacaronikid on social for weather-related announcements.
• Any hitting, physical, or verbal violence of any kind will not be tolerated. If any such event occurs, the person(s) involved will be asked to leave the property for the duration of the event.
• A parent or guardian must accompany participating children ages 0-12 at all times.
