Sunday, February 25, 1 pm – 3 pm

Park Place and the Leawood Fire Department are bringing the big red fire truck to The Ice! Bring your little (and big!) engine lovers out to this family-friendly event to meet and skate with first responders who work hard for our City every day. Be inspired, learn about safety, and familiarize children through a special hands-on experience which includes:

• A tour of a fire truck with a real fire fighter from the LFD
• Learn about the tools, “bunker gear” or protective clothing, and other equipment on the truck
• Learn about fire safety and what a fire fighter does to help protect you
• Free hats & stickers for the kids!

Admission to ice skate on The Ice is $11 per person (ages 3 and under are Free!) + $4 skate rental.

Please note: This truck will be in service and could possibly arrive late if it is dispatched to an emergency.
